No more “the button thing on the second page”.

Without SiteNote

Dana Whitfield Re: Re: Re: site feedback v3

Hi! Looks great. Few things: can the button thing on the second page be green? And the price for the chair is wrong I think. Also the logo looked tiny on my phone yesterday. Screenshot attached (sorry it's cropped)

Could this button be our green, like the logo?

Example threads from the made-up Halden review above.

SiteNote is a website feedback tool for people who build sites for clients. Your client opens a review link, browses their real, live website and pins comments on any element. Nothing is installed on the site. Each comment arrives as a thread with the page, the element, the screen size, the browser and a screenshot, so you never have to ask which button they meant.

From link to fixed, in three steps.

  1. 1. Share a review link

Paste the site's address and send your client the link. Add a password when the site isn't public yet.

  2. 2. Your client pins feedback

They browse their site as usual and click what they want changed. A name the first time, nothing to install, works on a phone.

  3. 3. You resolve it

Threads land in your inbox with everything you need. Reply, resolve, or hand a batch to your AI tool.

Your clients point. Your AI tools fix.

SiteNote has a built-in MCP server. Connect Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or any MCP client, and it can read the open threads, make the change in your own codebase or site builder, and resolve each thread once you confirm.

  • get_work_orderAll open threads of a project, oldest first, with screenshots.
  • get_threadOne thread: the conversation, the element's HTML and where it sits.
  • resolve_threadMarks it done and tells the client, after you confirm.
  • ask_clientAsks the client a question in the thread when the note is unclear.

Everything you need to act on a note.

The exact element, not a guess

Every client project in one inbox, with a clear owner for each thread and less back and forth per launch.

Freelancers

Clients who send feedback you can act on the first time, and a tidy record of what was asked and done.

In-house teams

Questions

What is SiteNote?

SiteNote is a website feedback tool for agencies, freelancers and in-house web teams. Your client opens a review link, browses their live website inside SiteNote and pins comments on any element. Each comment becomes a thread with the page, the element, the screen size, the browser and a screenshot.

Do my clients need to install anything or make an account?

No. They open the link and start clicking. The first time they comment they type their name and email, and that is all. It works in any modern browser, including on their phone.

How does it show my live site without a script or plugin?

SiteNote loads the page through its own preview server and adds the comment layer on the way to the browser. Your site is not changed, and nothing is installed on it. That also means it works on sites you do not control the code of.

Which websites work?

Most public and staging sites, whatever they are built with: WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Framer or hand-written code. A few sites block this, for example behind strict bot protection. During early access you can try it on your own sites before you send a link to a client.

Which AI tools work with SiteNote?

Any tool that supports MCP (Model Context Protocol), including Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and Windsurf. Each admin connects their own tool once and signs in through the browser.

Does SiteNote run AI on my data?

No. SiteNote runs no AI models and never edits your site. Your own AI tool reads threads only after you connect it, makes changes in your own code or site builder, and resolves a thread only after you confirm.

What does it cost?

Pricing is not final yet. We will share it before the public launch.

Where is my data stored?

The SiteNote app runs on servers in the EU. Early-access sign-ups are stored with Cloudflare, in its Western European region.
